Determination Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 Description: A vector bold set. Reminds me of the oldschool Viacom logo that we all remember growing up...NOTE: These are 32-bit alpha-blended bmps so they work natively with XP / ME. You must have one of those versions for these icon sets to work properly. Wiki on it here.Changelog: Version 1Enjoy!Installation instructions included in the zip.
Gooey Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 Very nice. I like them. Using them now. Cheers =)
Ryz Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 Just a little fyi, W2k doesn't support alpha blending in uTorrent for some reason (works fine in other programs such as winamp though)...
Determination Posted October 29, 2005 Author Report Posted October 29, 2005 thanks for the heads up. I don't have a 2K here to test it, and I took the Wiki at it's word. Anyone know if it works with ME?
BloodStaindHurricane Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 I really like these. Nice job, Determination.
Determination Posted October 29, 2005 Author Report Posted October 29, 2005 I had to make them in PSP, since (for some reason that escapes me) PS doesn't do strokes at a Vector level. You make paths and shapes, then you have to stroke it (separate raster action)... seems needlessly complicated. Since you have more PS experience than me, is there some other way to deal it in PS?
vurlix Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 I know exactly what you mean, Determination. I had the exact same problem. The solution I came up with was to use a layer stroke effect and make the layer's Fill Opacity to 0% so that only the stroke effect is visible. Hope this helps
Determination Posted October 29, 2005 Author Report Posted October 29, 2005 Vurlix, your excellence is overwhelming.
hofshi Posted February 27, 2006 Report Posted February 27, 2006 Nice!!I really like this one - thanks.Edit: could you please upload it to the skins page? thanks again...
