FronZ
Am using Symantec Client Security Corporate Edition version 3, I have noticed that during downloading with цtorrent version 1.6, that the process ccApp.exe is using much of my CPU usage ( around 30-50 %) which wasn't familiar with any other Bittorent client ( I used Azureus before цtorrent), this high cpu usage bugs me and increases my cpu's temperature. My connection is a 256/64 Kbps ADSL connection, I always set the maximum number of connections per torrent to 100, and I never download more than 1 file at one time.My PC runs with an Intel Pentium 4 3.0 Ghz processor (2 MB cache), and 1 GB of Dual DDR Bus 533 Kingston RAM (2x512) with a Maxtor 160 GB SATA HD, 16 MB Buffer, MSI 945P Mobo. Thanks in Advance. DreadWingKnight
http://www.liutilities.com/products/wintaskspro/processlibrary/ccapp/Sounds like it's Norton (Symantec) not liking µTorrent's traffic.Whatever the problem is, it sounds more like a bug in Norton and not in µTorrent. FronZ
and isn't there any solutions for this bug, whatever it was a utorrent bug or symantec's ?
DreadWingKnight
Putting uTorrent in the exemption list for scanning would be a solution.Finding out what part of the symantec component is causing the load spike would be helpful.
