danwood76 Posted December 20, 2006 Report Posted December 20, 2006 When I scroll up and down my torrent list whilst selecting the scroll bar the list disappears and is replaced by a grey single line of one torrent. I was wondering if this was because I have too many torrents in my list?It does the same thing when I access it through my LAN so I am assuming its not a speed problem.I have around 60 torrents as you can see and this only started happening around about the time i got to 55.regards,Danny
Ultima Posted December 21, 2006 Report Posted December 21, 2006 Yes, that's intended behavior so that webui doesn't have to load the entire torrent list -- cuts back on bandwidth waste, and speeds up the Javascript considerably. There are people with over a thousand torrents on their list, and this helps them greatly.Does the list show up afterwards?
danwood76 Posted December 28, 2006 Author Report Posted December 28, 2006 Yeah the list shows up after, but I have noticed it doesnt always scroll down to the torrent it says in the greyed writing.Sometimes I still have to scroll up and down with the arrows afterwards, but if its saving bandwidth then im all for it.thanks,Danny
Ultima Posted December 28, 2006 Report Posted December 28, 2006 The little text box thing doesn't indicate what it's going to be displaying, it's something else (can't remember what, though).
danwood76 Posted December 30, 2006 Author Report Posted December 30, 2006 maybe instead of doing that it could display a delayed snapshot of the torrents thats got from an initial read of the torrent list so that scrolling up and down is easier to find the torrent you are going for??thanks,Danny
Ultima Posted December 30, 2006 Report Posted December 30, 2006 The point is that it doesn't get the entire list from the get-go. It gets information for the torrents as you scroll so to (again) save bandwidth and improve speeds.
