uptight Posted December 21, 2006 Report Posted December 21, 2006 I'm trying to unzip files but nothing happens to them.I see this under "General":Tracker Status: invalid URLWhen I try to "Add Torrent from URL" I get nothing but invalid messages. What do I have to do?
DreadWingKnight Posted December 21, 2006 Report Posted December 21, 2006 Download torrents that don't use the UDP tracker protocol.
uptight Posted December 21, 2006 Author Report Posted December 21, 2006 Thanks for looking at my problem. Unfortunately, I don't understand the solution.
DreadWingKnight Posted December 21, 2006 Report Posted December 21, 2006 Torrents that use udp:// as the announce url are not supported in uTorrent (and will failover to DHT-only if permitted)
uptight Posted January 26, 2007 Author Report Posted January 26, 2007 I don't know where to look for "udp://"I really don't understand how torrent works or should.(Sorry about delay in replying.)
Ultima Posted January 26, 2007 Report Posted January 26, 2007 Check the torrent properties and look at the tracker URL.
uptight Posted January 27, 2007 Author Report Posted January 27, 2007 How do I check properties? Torrent Help said "You can also check the properties of the µTorrent process in Process Explorer, click on the Threads tab, and see what DLLs are hooked into the process to find out what's causing the issue. Seeing mswsock.dll is normal."I can't find any Threads tab.
Ultima Posted January 28, 2007 Report Posted January 28, 2007 HUH? Right-click the torrent and look at torrent properties.
uptight Posted January 30, 2007 Author Report Posted January 30, 2007 When I right click on a file I'm trying to extract, the Torrent Properties window isn't very helpful. Under "General" the Tracker box is empty. 'Advanced" doesn't tell me anything either.
