gung
I have followed the instructions for port mapping and it seemed to work. I checked to see if the port was forwarded and I got the dreaded error port not open. I followed the instructions several times and it said that it was already completed. I am using the Dlink 624/I have the yellow triangle and have tried various settings and combinations but nothing is working. Please please help!Nancy
gung
I seemed to have been able to find my own fix for the issue. I chose a different random port and had to rename it in the router set up from the traditional utor1 to tor1 and this fixed the problem. I hope this might help someone else.Nancy
µtorrent-Guest
now wait a minute!if you use Randomise port you will not have the same next time you start µT.How you name the rule in your router is equal, you can even name if "fuxx RIAA" if you like. name is just for you to remember what it is used for, important is that the values for IPaddress and port in that rule matches the IPaddress of your computer (you have set a STATIC one!) and the port that your µT is using. gung
Well after I allowed it to pick another random port I unchecked it so that it will remain the new port but won't pick a random port everytime. Then I followed the instructions again and they worked.
