6kb download speed

I'm having some speed issues with uTorrent.

When I first installed it (a fair few months back), the download speed was normal; it was going how I expected it to go due my internet speed (I usually get a download speed of 170kb/ps). But recently (since about a month ago or so) it has only been downloading at only 6kb/ps maximum at any given time. The thing is though, that the upload speed goes at about 22kb/ps. Also, my internet speed is just as good as ever, because Firefox downloads files at 170kb/ps still. The problem also happens when I try torrents in Bittorrent.

Any idea what is causing this?

Any ideas for rectifying the problem?

I'm open to all input.

I had the same problem.

Soll. select your speed in the speedhelp (1 mbit or better) by clikking on the icon in the info bar.
