creaturex
To answer your question with another, how much does it really matter? I mean that flag data isn't guaranteed accurate anyway because some (and possibly most) of the people on µtorrent are using anonymous proxies that may be from countries that aren't there own. The IP resolution flags are pretty much just for fun, or if you're really bored you could guage distance vs. speed and get a worthless answer. nicemasker
Maybe you don't understand what i say.i mean that the user with exactly ip can't show flag, but with another name does. i want to know how can i show the flag with exactly ip~ you know? Harry Poppins
I don't think it's possible to show flags for IP numbers. uTorrent looks at the hostname to determine the country (for example, *.cn is China, *.my is Malaysia, etc). But if the IP number doesn't resolve to a hostname, then the country is unknown.
Ultima
Yah, it NEEDS to be a hostname. And yeah, those IP addresses don't resolve to hostnames, apparently. I'm not entirely sure how peer.resolve_country works, but if it uses a DNSBL, maybe it can detect IP addresses' countries without needing to revdns them... Have you tried enabling peer.resolve_country in the advanced options?
nicemasker
Thank u,Ultima.the problem which i say be sloved. And the key is that i disabled the peer.resolve_country options. And I want to say the creaturex can't give me the true answer entirely.
