Hello guys, Security is important to all of us im sure.

Keeping that in mine, I would like your views on whats the best option ......

your input will benefit many users of utorrent who are thinking to use webui..

Seeing as how HTTPS is used by big banks and whatnot, I don't see why you really need an alternative anyway... Hamachi seems like overkill to me.

It's like using a bulldozer to move a pencil from one part of your desk to another -- more than necessary.

Besides, the only thing you really want is your login authentication to stay secret.

The data that follows is less important anyways.

Another way to do it, is using a SSH tunnel. can be easily done using a freeware windows client like putty.

If you don't know how I wouldn't mind making a tutorial.

Hamachi IS overkill. Using VPN software for a secure web application is kinda overdoing it. Besides, this would require you to install Hamachi on every machine you want to access your Webui from. In public places this is usually impossible and even on other places its not possible or desirable. Pretty much every internet connected PC has a browser with support for HTTPS.

I'd say HTTPS.
