motiv8d Posted December 31, 2006 Report Share Posted December 31, 2006 I use my xp pc as a non admin user and runas to do admin tasks like installs.As uTorrent seems to insist on installing settings under %APPDATA% the settings get set for administrator and not my non priviledged user.Is there a workaround rather than adding the user to Administrators group for install?(This is what I have done to get it working, but I would like to know for future reference, otherwise recommend as feature request)The ideal I would expect would be an option to choose the settings directory at install, eg: manually force it to the particular user appdata or even in the C:\Prog..\Utorrent\ Folder.ThanksMotiv8d Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
