Cyclone
Hi im on wifi internet access, we have an internal tracker running. The problem im having is that when i connect to a tracker outside of our network i either get "A socket operation was attempted to an unreachable host" error or it connects but then i cant seed or leech, it doesnt connect to the peers. I asked my wisp to forward my port and they did. Im using the new uTorrent beta.
Ultima
Well, for one thing, you appear to be behind a transparent proxy, which essentially places you in a firewalled-like state, even if your ports are indeed forwarded =\
Cyclone
Yea asked then last night and seems they have a transparent proxy, the guy working with the firewall is only coming back in 4 days time though, there a way to bypass a transparent proxy? They use squid. Thanks.
Ultima
Don't think so -- any connection you try to make will always go through the transparent proxy.
