Lilith
Since we're talking about the "symbols" used in uTorrent, can anyone tell me what does the # list that comes after Name list mean? ^^ I even have a * on one of my completed torrents... 1c3d0g
The "#" (it's pronounced "hash", IIRC) simply means the priority you have given to that particular torrent. Use the Up/Down arrows to change priority. When it's a "*" (star?), I think it means your seeding is still under the 1:1 ratio (and thereby gives that torrent higher priority), but the "*" should go away once it reaches that goal. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Keloran
# = hash/pound* = astrix (proberlly not spelt right)apart from that its all right (afaik) ice
Meat_Puppet
Right now I have a ratio of 6.15 on a file I'm seeding, and the astrick(sp?) is still showing, so it doesn't go away when you hit a 1:1 ratio.
1c3d0g
Did you restart µTorrent? :/
dman0808
along with that....i'm assuming an up arrow with a little redsign is uploading but can't connect to tracker. second question is. under status it says "seeding [F]" what does the [F] mean?and last but not least...why would i be having a problem with one torrent connecting to the tracker and another one (tracking on the same website) be ok?thanks for your help as i am new to utorrent. CoucHSpuD
the [F] means that the seeding is forced. as for the second part, the tracker's probably busy and you got lucky connecting on one but not the other.
chaosblade
The Asterisk (spelling? not sure either) means its a prioritized torrent.
Veneficus
# = pound, hash, sharp, number sign* = asterisk
Animorc
The asterisk will go away when the ratio is higher than the one you set in the properties for the torrent (or the global setting if you didn't set it). You can see what it has to reach if you rightclick on the torrent and select Properties. Set the "Seed While" value to something lower than 615% in your case, and the *-sign will soon be gone.
