ZoMbIe828
I'm on ISDN (128k), a rather slow connection and so I'm just trying to get the best speed possible.Using the formulas found on this page, http://www.johntp.com/2006/04/19/how-to-increase-download-speeds-of-utorrent/ , I ended up with:Connections (per-torrent): 15Connections (global): 65Most other settings ended up being pretty much the same. The above two settings differ to uTorrent's Speed Guide which comes out as such:Connections (per-torrent): 55Connections (global): 80My question is, which is superior? uTorrent's Speed Guide, or JohnTP's formulas? DreadWingKnight
Personally, I would actually agree with JohnTP's formula for your connection.Having too many peer connections active will eat your connection with overhead.
Ultima
I wouldn't agree with the net.max_halfopen settings though -- you should leave it at default.
