Bobdylan
Hi, I´ve discovered a problem with seeding with uTorrent. It works perfectly fine in the beginning, uploading at full speed. But after a couple of days it just stops seeding every torrent. If I restart the program, it seeds one torrent at about 30% of the speed for a couple of minutes then goes back to 0. Im still connected to about 10 peers on each of the torrents and the network is ok so its not a firewall/tracker-problem. My friend has the same problem.. anyone else? vurlix
If you are using the ip filter feature, that would be the problem. A bug was identified and fixed that didn't properly reject filtered connections (thus the system eventually runs out of free connections)If not, I'm not sure what the problem could be.. chaosblade
Either the problem vurlix is talking about, Otherwise it sounds like a nasty ISP. Do you have 'Lazy Bitfield' enabled in your advanced options pane ? might help.
Bobdylan
Vurlix: Nope, i'm not. Mm kay i'll continue trying and see if it gets better chaosblade: Haven't had this problem with other clients though.. ok changed the Lazy Bitfield to true, what does it do? 1c3d0g
IIRC, it "cloaks" the data, making it harder for your ISP to see that you're "torrenting".
chaosblade
Exactly. Let us know if you see any improvement with it enabled (i think its even more improved for v1.1.8, not sure 100% about that).
