vegan
I am having speed issues - I have just installed a wireless router (as I now have 2 computers on the network). I have a cable connection with a static IP - so prior to the wireless install I just had my ports forwarded through my security suite and I experienced good DL speeds. Now that I have installed the wireless router, I am not getting good speeds - they hover around 50Kbps - when previously I would have been getting at least 100 - 300KBps (I have tested the same torrents using bothe setups). So far I have assigned both computers on the network their own static IP (within the bounds of the router's range). I can connect to the internet with no problems simultaneously on both computers. I have forwarded the utorrent port using the virtual server function in the wireless router's interface (and after using the port check function in utorrent it confirms the port to be open), disabled DHCP, assigned corresponding values to the windows wireless connection(TCP/IP settings).I have a TP-Link wireless router (TP-WR642G).Any suggestions?Problem solved - Reset router and started from scratch...now it works. ...go figure
