Bill
I am using utorrent 1.6 build 474 and in the # column some of the seeding torrents have * and some don't. I was wondering what the star means ?
TheBear
You should find the * in the number column of every completed torrent. As the number relates to the download order you want, completed downloads don't need them.
abbad0n
However completed stopped torrents don't have it.
Bill
Not every completed torrent I have has the *. Every torrent that is actively seeding does (maybe coincidence???) and most of the ones that are queued to seed do, but not all. I could not find it in the documentation, I am still curious... Ultima
Torrent jobs that have not reached the seeding goal will have a * (asterisk) instead of an integer. Torrent jobs that have reached the seeding goal will have a blank in this column. If you have any other questions regarding µTorrent's interface, consult the (semi-official) user manual in the second link in my signature. TheBear
Thanks Ultima for providing a more complete description of the use of the * symbol.
