User-Agent (Mozilla) interfearing with uTorrent...

Dear Sirs,

Since yesterday I got a very annoying issue with uTorrent: I had two downloads from two different trackers, one got stocked at a certain percentage, and the other never started.

At "Tracker Status" I got:

- Tracker a.) "Tracker Sending Invalid Data: Direct Access Not Allowed"

- Tracker b.) "Failure: torrent not registered with this tracker". Please exclude the absence of the torrent on the tracker, I triple checked this path.

Being unable to do ANYTHING with uTorrent, I begun tracking the problem: firstly, I opened the link provided in the "Tracker URL" in my browser, Mozilla.

I got from tracker a.) DIRECT ACCESS NOT ALLOWED and from tracker b.) the following: "d14:failure reason40:torrent not registered with this trackere

"

My first deduction was that something is stripping the request, so in a second phase, I was tracking the http protocol used by uTorrent: in case of tracker a.) was SOMEHOW looking "normal":

HTTP GET /announce.php?passkey=faf4ff2577a9ed52d6ec9ed14a0e511d&info_hash=%ee%0a%0f%e7%2b%7cB2%d3%80%dc%40%ae%85f%5e7%9d%9d%8c&peer_id=-UT1600-%da%81%16G%800iQ%0eg%8a%82&port=11921&uploaded=0&downloaded=0&left=368285696

Going forward and tracking the TCP protocol I got this:

Transmission Control Protocol (TCP)

Please let me know how I can get rid of the User Agent appendix that makes uTorrent unusable…

Thank you very much in advance!

With best regards,

San

Edit:

I have the complete log of the session, if you need it, just let me know.

Thank you!

Dear all,

Finally here is my own solution...! :)

I found the problem. I have installed a software product called Spy Emergency 2006 antispyware from Netgate, but the software provider may have other URL, certainly is that the product has it's web site (http://www.spy-emergency.com/)

As you can see here es.jpg there are two settings that affect the "normal" behavior of the computer. I do not know which one, but certainly with both options disabled, you can use bittorrent clients again and to run the resident part of Spy Emergency 2006.

Strange, but it happens. Thanks God I was able to trace it to the roots...! :)

Once again, thank you very much for your attention and I hope to help others as well!

With best regards,

San
