silverfire
...I don't see how this is relevant to a BitTorrent client. Maybe it'd be useful as part of a system information program it could scan the settings.dat from uTorrent, but I fail to see the point of having uTorrent do this itself... 1c3d0g
Yeah, this is easily and much more thouroughly accomplished by Samurize or Desktop Sidebar. µTorrent is a BitTorrent program, not a system monitor utility.
hendrix
what u richtertheo posted looks like it was from Bitcomet.. and btw i think thats nice to have even for a torrent progg.. ! hehe
1c3d0g
I'll have to add that IF, and that's a big IF, it's not going to bloat µTorrent and/or require to much manpower/time to implement, then yes, I don't see why it shouldn't be implemented. But currently there are more pressing matters to resolve, like DHT and Unicode support.
hendrix
true, DHT is on the top of the list.. atleast on mine (who cares??)! Unicode.. hmm.. yeah well oki then.. But then...!
richtertheo
for me it's very important to know for example the current connections of utorrent. I don't like to stress my router more than neccesary. Pings on WAN are getting badder, surfing is slow, it's not only the upload, what causes problems. And last but not least, I wanna know what's going on on my PC, thanks.regards richtertheo
silverfire
It might be the most important thing for you, but the fact still stands that there are other utilities that can do the job just as well without having to add a feature in uTorrent that very few if any people aside from yourself would use. Firon
So why don't you just limit the connections to a reasonable amount in uTorrent's options?
