Tezzador
Hi there. I've a problem ever since I reformatted my computer. My uTorrent refuses to work properly anymore. I have a green tick but it seems when I download any torrent, the speed is always around 1KBps. Those are regular well seeded torrents. I used to get at least around 10 to 30 KBps on my old system. I've tried the Openoffice torrent but I'm only getting around 15 KBps. From my experience, I've got at least 60-90 KBps for that one. Only difference between this format and the previous is that is I installed every single Windows update+IE7+WMP11+SP2. I'm using the same settings as below but it's so frustrating! I just don't know what could be wrong. I don't believe those updates are causing my torrents to perform so badly. And it's not just uTorrent, I've tried Azureus, same problem. Has anyone updated his Windows fully and still get his torrents to work fine?

Tezzador
The problem started after reformatting my computer. Ultima
Hm. Can you try disabling DHT, UPnP, and IP resolving in the Peers Tab?

Ultima
Hm. I didn't realize you were using StarHub... FWIW, they're known to throttle BitTorrent traffic. As for upload... well, in general, it's a bit more diffcult to measure, as these torrents are usually seeded well, but I guess you can try picking a torrent from here and trying? Tezzador
Ok, thanks for your help. I'll continue to monitor the speeds.
