anvan
I am connected trough wifi hotspot. No fee, good speed, but no admin accessible ;-) Forwarding test (uTorrent 1.6) shows that only forwarded ports are 21, 22, 23, and 80. As I don't run any of the first three services (FTP, SSH, telnet) on my PC, I decided to set uTorrent to listen at port 21 (FTP). Despite the forwarding test says OK, the client keeps showing "no incomming connections".So here is my question: why this setting doesn't work? I think that FTP and HTML ports are forwarded allmost everywhere so many users would be able to solve the NAT problem quite easily this way. It is a bad practice, of course, but who cares ... Ultima
Random guess, but maybe it's because they probably filter connections via those ports, and if it doesn't match what they expect, they block the connection.
