salemtadudado Posted January 26, 2007 Report Share Posted January 26, 2007 what i am trying to do is stop my brother from downloading porn off of utorrent. we use a d link wireless router. i was wondering if i could restrict him from downloading any torrent files by blocking all the ports with a few exceptions that i use for my downloads. or block his ip address entirely from using utorrent or any other client! any clue on how i could do this? TheBear Posted January 26, 2007 Report Share Posted January 26, 2007 Yours is more a network administration question than something µTorrent specific.First, you'd have to find out if that sort of functionality is possible with the model of D-Link router you have.Your user manual would be the best place to start.
