zaphod Posted January 27, 2007 Report Share Posted January 27, 2007 I have been trying for a good few hours trying to get u-torrent to work, I followed everyones advice, worked through the troubleshooters without much success.I was unable to connect to any peers, nodes or seeders, to cut a long story short, I was getting very frustrated. I was looking through the advance options when I came across a tick box for encrypting data. I ticked the box, restarted u-torrent and low and behold, I was shaking hands and swapping data with seeders/peers and logged onto nodes.If only I had seen this in the beginning, oh well, am just happy that I can now get on with things, just had to let someone know.Mark Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

My ISP is Tiscali, I understand they are anti p2p, will be looking for another as soon as my contract is up.
