psych
i have pre-allocate space turned on. however, in the torrent i choose "do not download" for a few files. when i start the torrent, it tries to allocate the space anyway. this doesn't seem logical. this shouldn't happen right? MrCoke
if it is "pre-alocating the space" it pre-alocates it, turn the box off and it wont
triggernum5
Set the files you want to skip, stop the torrent, delete unwanted files, restart/recheck torrent.
psych
seems like a fiddly way to do it, but if it works, ok

toe_cutter
This works better in 1.1.8Still the same in 1.2... (pre-allocates skipped files)I really want to use uTorrent but, i dont want to take a step backwards to be able to :/Now if only it had a remote control of sort... edit: figured it out (its late! ok?) ftp-upload a torrent and have uT autoload torrents from that directoryedit2: but heh, i like task-specific stuff... ludde
Enable "start jobs in stopped mode". Deselect the files you don't need. Start the torrent.
