Langrad
For the last 6 months or so my school has been blocking programs like bittorrent and limewire ect. I set it to Protocol Encrypted- Enabled and that seemed to fix it just fine. I could upload at 1.2megs and download at around the same. But recently (this week) Iv been maxing out downloading at 15kb/s. Anyone got any ideas how to get around this or what oculd be going on? I have a t22 laptop and a linksys wireless connection (though even when im plugged in speed dosnt increase).
Switeck
They may have lowered you just due to excess bandwidth use.1 MB/sec for a month would be about 2.5 terabytes of traffic. What's your upload speed going at now?
Langrad
Well utorrent isnt always open and of corse uploading speed fluktuats (damn i cnat spell) But now i get 1-550 kb/s. Normaly in the low range. It seems that its having a much harder time getting connections from the peers. Switeck
Run Speed Guide (CTRL+G) in µTorrent. And try choosing one of the lower-end settings such as xx/96k up to xx/512k.
