Download completed torrents?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm using uTorrent at a remote site which has unlimited up/download capacity with high speed, which of course helps downloading torrents a lot.

Once completed (or seeding), I download the completed torrent to my home site using a third party tool.

I was wondering why there is no option in the gui to link to the completed files - it would be really sweet to be able to download my completed torrents straight from the GUI.

Setting download location via webui means allowing remote file browsing, which is a bit more on the "dangerous" side... Not saying it's not getting implemented (I've no clue), but it's just something you might want to consider...

Heheh its something I personally would not want to see. Or at least it has to be easy to completely disabled (and be disabled by default). We wouldn't want people targeting the common people who try and use webui by finding some way to gain access to their hard drives or worse.

I'd love to see it. :)

SSL and strong passwords ppl! :)

WebUI on itself is already dangerous... If I can get in, and start downloading torrents till it fills up your drive, you're scr*w*d as well.

you gonna click 1000 times for a 1000 file torrent?

Better idea: map a network drive from your high speed place, to your home and tell utorrent to move torrents there after it completes them

But the thing I dont understand, is why use the high speed site at all if youre gonne then d/l on a slow line to home.. Might as well just d/l on the slow line for starters
