Reckless1o1
Well I recently upgraded to Windows Vista and now uTorrent is having trouble. It had virtually no problems on XP so i have no idea what could be wrong. The problem is that all the torrents fail and in the "Tracker Status" it says "A socket operation encountered a dead network" It says the same thing for all trackers. I disabled Windows firewall, no help. So I don't know if there is something I need to do diffrent for Vista. Thanks for any help | Reckless1o1

Daelakk
I don't believe that uTorrent supports Vista just yet. (it's too new)That's my guess.Wait for a new version to come out or get a BitTorrent client that supports Vista ( if there is one )

MysticalTux
Hey guys, I just got a new PC with Vista on it. I installed U-Torrent with no problems. I just forwarded correct ports and all seems to be working fine. The port I forward is 6632, I also forced Protocol Encryption and my down/up is fine. Daelakk
Well, my guess is wrong. Backup everything important and reinstall Vista maybe. Do you have a firewall running?
