Switeck
Settings changes in µTorrent should speed up your download speed at least slightly....so, what settings are you currently using as shown by Speed Guide (CTRL+G)?And what speed is your internet connection, both down AND up? Abascantus
you must open your router ports so you can have normal speeds, try to open the same ports in utorrent and in your router and firewall
Switeck
jack00,Your µTorrent's speed guide settings page looks a bit much for a xx/512k upload speed.8 torrents going at once with 4 upload slots each means your 40 KB/sec upload may be getting split up to 32 ways...for barely 1 KB/sec each. Better to reduce the upload slots slightly and check the use more upload slots if upload <90% box. Or you can reduce max torrents at once to maybe 5?Have you updated your router's firmware if nothing else works?
utlonghorns
yes! i get the same exact thing!my download (only one)started out great, it was doin like idk 30 bk/s now im lucky to get .4 kb/s!i dont have any firewalls or anti virus.my speeds xx/256k. only halfway through the download did it slow down. is it somethingi did? i am sorry, but i dont understand your directions.if you could, would you go through it step by step,im kinda retarded at this.thanks!p.s. isnt upload like seeding? if it is, all i care about is the downloadingpart, cause right now im uploading like 80 kb/s
Switeck
If your upload is fast and your download is slow, lower your upload speed max to about 10 KB/sec BELOW whatever it's currently sustaining.
