CosMix
Until very recently uTorrent was my favorite p2p client, but lately I've noticed strange behaviour of my bandwidth. At 1st I thought that my DNS was screwing things up, and so I've checked and everything seemed to be in order. My room mate (I live in a student campus) noticed the same problem (internet connection appeared to be slow - actually just web browsing; namely DNS problem) and he started closing all the applications that were using bandwidth. He came to the conclusion that uTorrent is the cause of the troubles and so he had it removed. I still wasn't sure that this might be the problem and continued to search. But when I came to no conclusion whatsoever, I have removed uTorrent as well and installed Azureus (which I sincerely dislike because of its well known problem - Java(requires a lot of system sources)). Since then, the problem I thought we had with our DNS and bandwidth, was gone. Everything seems to be working w/o problems. I wonder anyone has noticed the same difficulties and also found the solution, because I just can't help myself not to like uTorrent client in general. Hopefully someone can point out the problem and maybe even the solution, thnx in advance

Ultima
The link DWK provided already provides a proper, near-direct, and more-or-less guaranteed safe link to the TCPIP.sys patch -- why bother going in loops and grabbing it from BitTorrent, and in places where safety isn't necessarily guaranteed? ;o
