joris
In my dorm room, I use the ISP of our university, but they block every p2p software. I think they close the ports these programs use, but every port I tried, random, 21, ... failed. Also the port test failed every time but I can't change anything on the router. Does sb know if it's possible to still use utorrent? I'm now home & I'm kinda addicted to utorrent =) but it doesn't work in my dorm room =(Thanks,Joris
Switeck
Were you just firewalled by a router you can't configure, you could probably use µTorrent just fine...you'd just be unable to connect to anyone else that was firewalled. But your school is blocking p2p traffic.Even FORCED encryption mode and disabling legacy connections probably won't get around that.
