HansW
Hi,I have utorrent installed on my server, that runs 24/7 (server 2003 installed) I access the server via remote desktop from my other pc. I usually dowload the torrent-file to the server and then start utorrent to download the movie to a hardisk on the server., then I disconnect from the server and let utorrent do its job. So everything takes place at the server. Now, when I re-connect to the server to see the status of the download, I get the error: "device is not connected"I have figured out, that as long as I keep the remote desktop connected to the server, everything goes well. But as soon as I disconnect from the server, Utorrent stops working on the server and gives the error message. As all dowloading takes place (and utorrent itself resides) ON THE SERVER, remote desktop should not even be an issue!!I use the same technique with other torrent-programs (like ABC) and there I don't have any issues. There is definately nothing wrong with my server-harddisk.Can sombody please help as I prefere to use Utorrent!!??Thanks soo much in advance. Rgds, Hans
Firon
When you disconnect, the server will lock itself, so perhaps this is the issue. Try using VNC, or something.
