xplorer0ut
Hi... Thanks for the forum. I never had trouble with utorrent 1.6 before till yesterday whenmy computer crashed (unrelated to utorrent), while utorrent was running. After rebbot, andrestart, i run utorrent, but it keeps giving me this error: "Unable to save the resume file. Some data may be lostAnother program might have the file open, or the disk is full. Please correct etc...."The torrent i was downloading [ ... ]was partially downloaded, and the partial files are still there. I uninstalled and reinstalled utorrent, and added the ipfilter.dat file, and it loadsup fine, but it keeps saying this error message every 10-30 seconds. This happenseven when i try a completely different torrent than the one i was downloading when system crashed. Again, i must say the crash was unrelated to utorrent. How do I correct this problem w/o starting the torrent over. Where is the resume file?Should I delete or replace this files? Plz help ...Thank you for any help./xplorer
t31os
Reinstall utorrent and resume the torrents, there should be a guide for resuming finished or partially finished torrents here (i don't know i'm new here) and see if that helps. Yes it is possible though....resuming torrents after reinstall, incase you didnt know.

µtorrent-Guest
the resume file is in the %appdata% folder (See FAQ)delete/rename settings.dat and settings.dat.old while µT is NOT running. upon next start it writes the file new. Be aware that you will loose the privious settings by doing so.
