My interent is connected Directly from the moden to my laptop with the wire. NO ROUTER. My prob is and always has been I never get good speed. After doing the speed test a few times in avergae i get 3201 and 309 upload speed. and in my torrents most of the time the downloads are at low speed, such as 4KB or even 0 at times. is there anyway i can fix this problem? how come i dont get a good fast speed. Switeck
Rogers Cable ISP has gone on a campaign to cripple and eliminate BitTorrent useage from their networks. The only solution at this time is pretty much to change ISPs.

Ultima
But then when you look at all the recent complaints regarding Rogers on the forums, you're forced to realize that they are throttling for most people. Maybe your friend's getting lucky, who knows, but once someone falls into the trap, chances are, they're not getting out ;\
