Switeck
Have you read the FAQ on them? For your connection, you are far better off to manually port forward your router (assuming you have one)...and leave UPnP disabled. Also, if your torrents can get at least 10 seeds and/or peers then you probably will get better speeds with DHT disabled. sameen
what u mean by get at least 10 seeds/peers. do u mean that i am atleast connected to 10 seeds/peer or atleast 10 peer/seeds are available
Switeck
I mean if you actually CONNECT to 10 peers/seeds on torrents. Beyond even that tiny number, your download speed gains will be minimal...and may even be negative if you connect to too many peers/seeds at once! Each ip-to-ip connection costs both download AND upload bandwidth to maintain.
sameen
1 more thing to ask what is peer exchange ?? if i enable it will it then will my download accelerate ?????????
Firon
Don't use so many question marks.Peer exchange allows your client to exchange peerlists with other clients. It generally won't make a difference.
Switeck
Peer Exchange is just another way to get a list of peers/seeds for a torrent if/when the tracker goes down. DHT is the "preferred" method for doing that, however if DHT doesn't work right or the tracker almost never goes down then DHT is often more trouble than it's worth.
