enabling UpNp & DHT

Have you read the FAQ on them?

For your connection, you are far better off to manually port forward your router (assuming you have one)...and leave UPnP disabled.

Also, if your torrents can get at least 10 seeds and/or peers then you probably will get better speeds with DHT disabled.

I mean if you actually CONNECT to 10 peers/seeds on torrents. Beyond even that tiny number, your download speed gains will be minimal...and may even be negative if you connect to too many peers/seeds at once! Each ip-to-ip connection costs both download AND upload bandwidth to maintain.

Peer Exchange is just another way to get a list of peers/seeds for a torrent if/when the tracker goes down. DHT is the "preferred" method for doing that, however if DHT doesn't work right or the tracker almost never goes down then DHT is often more trouble than it's worth.
