eV1Te
I have found the same bug in the new version 1.6.1 as in 1.6.uTorrent says that I am uploading in for ex. 500 KB/s but when i look in Vista my computer is uploading in exactly the double: 1000 KB/suTorrent also reports the half amount of upload to the tracker (so i have to upload twice as much to keep 1.0 ratio). My download speed is displayed correctly altho.Using NIC in Gigabyte GA-965P-S3 motherboard with Vista Business, Build 6000 (Final)

eV1Te
I am using the latest drivers.I have also seen people having similar problems with other software (for example gadgets which reports networkspeed and reports double or half speed and so on)
Firon
Probably an issue with Vista itself, if all the other stuff that doesn't work is any indication.
eV1Te
How does uTorrent read the network speed from the network card or OS?In xp i think the fastest intervall between reads was 1 sec. right? In vista you can read it several times per second, and lets say that uTorrent in some cases reads the value faster than once per second and therefore reports a slower speed?1000KB/s = 500 KB/halfsecond ---> uTorrent 500 "KB/s"EDIT: Have tried with both the Gigabyte drivers and Microsofts drivers (included in Vista) with the same result...I will try Azureus or some other client to see if they give the same results... alanmc
Most likely uTorrent calculates it's download speed internally not relying on the OS at all.
eV1Te
"Most likely uTorrent calculates it's download speed internally not relying on the OS at all."In that case, why would it calculate it wrong in Vista and not in XP?
