Ultima
Try restarting µTorrent when the torrent "finishes" and then forcing a recheck. If it continues happen, then hardware issues is the only explanation I can give (yes, even though you might think otherwise).
askewfilm
I am having the same problem with this new version. The downloads are going into the "complete" category and are at 100% and seeding. When I try to extract the archives, some come up bad. So when the torrent is reloaded it, the contents are checked, and the torrent shows .. like 98% complete, then queues for download and finishes. Then I might need to load the torrent once again because it still isn't complete. I tried disabling the disk caching feature, but that didn't seem to help. Thanks for reading! Ultima
Hm. Try a chkdsk on your drive (Start > Run > cmd /k chkdsk) -- does it find any errors?
askewfilm
nah no errors. i've been using utorrent for awhile also.... it's something with this new version and write caching i suspect.
askewfilm
Once again, I disabled the disk caching options, but this time restarted utorrent and reloaded my torrents to finish. they are dvdr's and both went back to 98.9% everytime. But now that I restarted it after changing those options, things are working normal again. Uh .. I dont know... I guess some conflict with something, only a few people are having this problem, but it is definitely a valid bug issue. thanks!
askewfilm
well, even with the disk caching disabled, it has happened again with another torrent. maybe it's something to do with the way the torrent is made, ... fuck if i know
bgmnt
To ultima: As you see it's not just my problem. I'm not blaming UTorrent that is a great piece of sofware. My opinion is that there's something wrong with the torrent file or maybe the seeder has a not complete file.My disk is a two month old sata 3000 drive and it had not showed any problem. The modem is also new but since this problem happen just with specific torrents I don't think the problem is here.I'll try the same torrent with other client to see what happen.Regards. Ultima
(Yes, I know -- I wasn't misunderstanding you )With many of the "normal" bugs out of the way and having been answered, we're getting odder and odder problems that I'm having a difficult time explaining nowadays ;\
