-paper_cut- Posted February 17, 2007 Report Share Posted February 17, 2007 yeah i've tried port forwarding through the route upnd ( w.e. its called) bit spirit thing, and changing the upload speeds but nothings working, and its sometimes random too i sometimes get over 100 kbs..that one time it happened was for like an hour then went back down to 80 then to 50 then back down to 5ish, and at the moment it staying around 5-15 kbs, anyway how to change this?here are my settings upload 15 kb/s upload slots : 4connection per torrent : 100 connection global 375max active torrents : 4 max active downloads current port 20178 ( maybe the port is bad)enable encryption, check. Switeck Posted February 18, 2007 Report Share Posted February 18, 2007 Does µTorrent constantly get the green light at the bottom? (That means it's not firewalled.)Are there lots of other peers on the same torrent as you which are also "stuck" at about the same percentage? (This means the seeds may be very slow, and if they're not sharing very quickly then you cannot download very quickly if everyone else has no more or less than you do.)Have you checked µTorrent's FAQs to see if you have any known-problem-causing software and hardware that may be causing your problems? (Most of the stuff mentioned in the faq will cause problems for a LOT more than just µTorrent!)Have you changed any advanced settings in µTorrent?
