xSaruSanx
I recently installed Windows Vista, and after I installed uTorrent, the notifications that a torrent is done downloading appeared, but after a reboot, they stopped appearing. Any idea what's wrong?I'm using uTorrent 1.6.1 build 490Thanks,~Chris
Ultima
Mm... have you tried disabling the option in the preferences, pressing OK, and then re-enabling it (and pressing OK again)?
xSaruSanx
Just tried it, with no success... :/EDIT: I just fixed the problem. Turns out it was a problem with Windows (Who would've guessed...? ). I had turned off the User Account Control function because Microsoft had totally messed up with that, and it was seriously getting on my nerves. Turns out that it controls all notifications, which I don't understand...but what can you do? You may want to add this to the FAQ, because I'm sure that with UAC being as annoying as it is, users are bound to turn it off and face the same problems. Thanks anyways for your help, Ultima! Ultima
That was a truly stupid design choice on Microsoft's part... if they don't consider it a bug, that is (I personally would). Thanks for the info
