wal1ker
How can you tell what's been uploaded from the computer? I would like to see what people are uploading from my pc. How can you exclude certain directories from uploading. Downloads are easy to see from the directory, but not uploads. Thank you for the info. torrero
You only upload the pieces of the file/torrent you are actually downloading. Nothing more or less. This is not emule where you have an uploading folder or something, where everone has access to this folder. This is so cool about bittorrent.click on the peers tab to watch whom you are uploading to. TBO
You upload from the active torrents, so whatever your downloading will be uploading too, and whatever is seeding will be uploading. Nothing apart from the active torrents upload, There is no "share folder"[EDIT]^ I'm too late >.<
wal1ker
Ok, I thought that maybe it was like file sharing and anyone can access all files on the hard drive. So by donwloading / uploading the same torrent you help others download it.

punlman
You can also upload a file, or an entire directory, to share with the world... by creating a new torrent file yourself. You do this by: File-->Create New Torrent...Then you can upload the "_______.torrent" file to torrent indexes yourself.... thereby allowing anyone to download the torrent file.... and thus to download the file or directory you associated to that torrent.... as long as you have that torrent also loaded into your uTorrent, and continue Seeding it...There is a simple step-by-step guide to sharing files with a limited group of people... or with the whole world... if you go to my web site and click the link called, "bittorrent".
