Why am i downloading so slow?

Hi everybody,

when i just downloaded µtorrent i was downloading very fast,

but now (about a month later) im downloading very slow, and only from one torrent.

What happend?

You may have exceeded your ISP's monthly bandwidth quota or they may have other criteria that they use to throttle "bandwidth hogs" (which can mean anyone who uses their connection more than others on average.)

You may be trying to download an almost dead, poisoned, or fake torrent...this is usually the case if there's very few seeds connecting to you (even if MORE seeds are reported in brackets) AND/OR availability never rises above 1.0 (well, at least by much for a torrent with a single seen seed.)

Or your settings may be overloading your connection.

So what's the speed of your connection both down AND up?

And what settings are you using in µTorrent, as shown by Speed Guide (CTRL+G)?

Then you should use the xx/128k setting in Speed Guide.

...you may be able to set alternate upload speed while not downloading a little higher though going higher than 13 KB/sec will probably be too much for your connection.

Okay, thank you very much, my µtorrent works as it did long time ago,

the light is red, but its still fast.
