modd1uk
Hi, i have a wrt54gs and it would crash after a bit of downloading via p2p apps or utorrent, ive flashed it and i'm now using dd-wrt firmware on it as apposed to linksys firmware and it seems rock solid. However the wireless isnt the greatest in my house so im considering upgrading to the WRT300N, does anybody know if it suffers the same fate as the wrt54g and wrt54gs when using p2p apps and utorrent.Hope this is in the right place, if not could a mod please move it Andy
DreadWingKnight
Why not just turn up the wireless transmit power and/or get a high-gain antenna instead? Not many of us have tried the 300N series stuff yet.

Lord Alderaan
I think I remember that certain countries have legal limits about transmit power of wi-fi antenna's. I have no idea whatsoever about what these limits are and if they bother to find people who are violating it. Might be handy to look into it before increasing the transmit power and stuff.Sometimes just trying a few different channels manually might find you a frequency that works better in your environment.
