barom
You know how you start the uTorrent and the torrents start checking stuff, which takes up a bunch of memory. I'll greatly appreciate if someone could tell me how to turn "the check stuff" off or disable or something in that direction. Thanks In Advance - Barom
DreadWingKnight
Fix whatever it is that is preventing uTorrent from shutting down properly.
barom
My comp ain't a server and i reinstalled my comp recently so i still have lots of programs to install (= lots of restarting). Besides it would be nice to be able to close and start up uTorrent every now and then "comfortably".
DreadWingKnight
The ONLY reason why uTorrent does a check at startup is if it gets a non-graceful shutdown.Just close down uT about 30-50 seconds before you restart your computer.

Switeck
Simple solution:Don't have µTorrent running from startup while you're doing all these reboots.Run µTorrent manually as need/wanted instead.
