DEAR ALL,

I AM FACING FOLLOWING PROBLEM AND WOULD BE PLEASED IF ANYONE COULD HELP ME OUT.

I HAVE A ADSL (OVER ISDN)ROUTER WITH ETHERNET INTERFACE (JETSPEED 520i FROM INTRACOM HERE IN GREECE).

I`VE OPENED A PORT IN ORDER TO ASSIST UTORRENT AND THE SPEED CAN ONLY LAST UP TO 2-3 MINUTES ,THEN IT STARTS FALLING AND FALLING DOWN TO EXTREMELY SMALL RATES.

I AM THEN BLOCKING THE PORT (THROUGH THE ROUTER`S CONFIGURATION SITE) AND THE SPEED MOVES UP BUT ONLY TO A CERTAIN SPEED LEVEL (15 kb/s)

AND I DO NOT REALLY UNDERSTAND WHAT DHT MEANS. ONLY A COMBINATION OF OPEN PORT WITH A REASONABLE NUMBER OF NODES IN THE DHT SEEMS TO WORK VERY GOOD, BUT ONLY FOR A FEW MINUTES, THEN THE NODES START TO FALLING AND THE SPEED DISSAPEARS.

COULD SOMEONE HELP ME ON THIS?

APPRECIATE YOUR ASSISTANCE IN ADVANCE

BEST REGARDS

MIKE

Posting in all caps (ALL BIG LETTERS) is considered rude like shouting. Please don't make a habit of it in the future.

Please state what Bandwidth limits are on your internet connection, both what's stated by your ISP information and by online speed tests. We *ESPECIALLY* need to know your max sustainable UPLOAD bandwidth. This is critical for setting many of µTorrent's key features.

BitTorrent lives, breathes, and dies by how well torrents can be uploaded.
