thejanitor866
I've forwarded all my ports correctly and I have a functional static ip that is working. It says, though, that a router is limiting my network traffic. Even though I see that i'm uploading and downloading.I have a picture of my ip configuration and ports that are forwarded, but for some reason I feel unsafe if I just post all my open ports and my ip. So if I could PM a technical assistant that would be great. Or.. if somebody proves to me that it would be okay to post my ip and such i'll do that. Switeck
Don't post your internet ip. Edit the picture in Paint if you have to...to hide your internet ip.Your computer's LAN ip on the other hand is helpful for configuring and CANNOT be tracked remotely.LAN ips are in the 10.x.x.x, 172.16-31.x.x, or 192.168.x.x ranges. There's another one or 2 more obscure than that, but I HIGHLY doubt you're on them.
Ultima
What modem and router are you using? What about firewall?
thejanitor866
Nevermind, I realized that I was using the same port for both of the computers in the house. Therefore interrupting the connection. Fixed it myself, and the status icon is green now. Remove this thread please.
