emma.m
i started utorrent about 3 weeks ago when everthing was going fine. then my isp (tiscali) put me on fair usage restriction (without any warning ) and since i cant download any torrents. i tried downloading lost and i am only connecting to around 3 seeds out of around 5000. the downloading bgoes to about 5kbs for a few minutes then slows even more until it eventually stops. I have no upload speeds whatsoever. i havent port forwarded as i am using a sagem modem which was supplied by tiscali. i have tried using 2 other clients to see if there is any difference which they are the same also. can anybody help me? Switeck
What are the terms/conditions of "fair usage restriction"?Did you exceed any stated daily/weekly/monthly bandwidth limits?
emma.m
i was downloading during the hours of 6pm-11pm. i wasnt sent any emails warning me of the restiction( which i was suppose to have three ). as i am new to this i didnt realise i was doing wrong. but my restritions are only suppose to be during these same hours also but i am having problems all day. i have tried downloading again this morning and connected to 75 seeds the download speeds went up to 60kbs and the uploads remain at about 0.1kbs. But i also nottice in the status bar that i am getting loads of hashfails and utorrent keeps crashing.
