Torrent Undownloadable

I followed the guide on the main site, created a torrent, uploaded the file, seeded it, yet no-one can download it.

I had http://tracker.prq.to/announce

http://tracker.bitebbs.com:6969/announce

listed as the tracker.

Any ideas?

It's just sitting there, not downloading, for anyone who's attempted to get it.

If it was just that no-one was interested, I wouldn't complain here.

I thought you used TPB as tracker. Where is the torrent there?

And i posted asking about a tracker, and was simply told to type one of these in the "tracker" box.

do you have a green light in the bottom?

are you actually seeding the torrent?

try with a smaler torrent please 4GB is a bit big just to try if it works.

Could not see any seeders. (0 of 0 connected) and only 2 peers (0 of 2 connected)!

Yeah, I seeded.

The port isn't forwarded properly. Could that be causing the problem? I can seed other peoples' stuff fine though.

if you have no port forwarded no one can download from you , as long as YOU are not the one that first initiate the connection.

And if the other is firewalled too at the moment, there will NEVER be a transfer.

Make sure you are connectable, create a reasonable 4-5mb torrent for testing and upload this to piratebay to see if you made everything correct.

I've tried getting connectable, nothing's worked. I went through all the static IP and port forwarding stuff, but it still says it's not forwarded properly.

I've done it multiple times, with different ports, and had it working until i had to reformat my hard drive and reinstall utorrent.

Software firewall? Uninstall or disable it to see if it is the culprit.

Either you have a real internet access; e.g. you are principly from the ISP point of view connectable from other peers. or you are not.

And you either have set up your homenetwork in a way that makes you connectable or you didn't set it up in the rightway.

You give us not a single piece of information so what kind of help do you expect at this point?

(Even providing you with th basic links now, might be useless since you claim you went through all the stuff already)

Well, in theory, there's a solution somewhere. Whether I've missed something, or something's different, I don't know.

How much difference does the port number make?

since you can forward what ever port you like, this shouldn' play any role at all

I found disabling "DHT" helped allot.

Only if you know in advance exactly what to ask...and how to get referred to a tech level that can actually think for themselves instead of reading canned responses from flash cards.
