silverfire
When accepting incoming connections through port 80, your ISP might think you're running a HTTP server, as they commonly serve through port 80. If I were you, I'd read over your terms of service and make sure that you're allowed to run an HTTP server, otherwise questions might come down from above and you'd have to explain that you're running BitTorrent through port 80. funtuva
Maybe we can have like a "reference tracker" that we could test spèed against, so then there is no discussion about a slow or fast tracker. If we could set that up and leave it there, everyone could fine tune their network settings to obtain decent speeds. Is this possible?
chaosblade
Just use one of the OpenOffice.org torrents, those are always well seeded and anyone with good tweaked settings should reach max speeds.
MasterChi
and well thier arent any torrents on the OpenOffice.org Site http://www.moviecodec.com/topics/5816p2.htmlWatch out Tiscali customers this is what has been happening for the last 6 months, seems like the port 80 is an old techneque even with the unlimited downloads its stupid they slow connections down my advice is take a read and this would explain a lot to those with 5KBP's download and on Tiscali or other isp's not 100% gareented to be the same around the world
