Switeck
Do you have a router or software firewall?
AEGiS
It's not the software firewall.I guess my ISP has a router, but I think it should be the modem because the connection stops at him - when it redirects me to the configuration web interface.I tryed to configure the NAT, nut there were no results. Does anyone have the same problem ? I mean i can't conneect to myself with the external IP adress...
Switeck
Your ISP may have your ports blocked by default...they may be willing to unblock them if you ask nicely -- or tell you if your modem's somehow to blame!
AEGiS
I didn't want to get to them but... if that's the only way. Anyway THANKS It's just that I am on a network and a computer with freebsd is connected to the net and we use it as a gateway. I suspected that this would be because of it, but because the connections stops at the modem then I should pay the ISP guys a visit.
vinurvk
I have the same modem which was given by BSNL (India).. by default no ports are blocked in the Modem Configuration.. Try doing a modem reset and check. And you must configure your router for Port Forwarding..Go to this website http://www.portforward.com/english/applications/port_forwarding/Utor/Utorindex.htm and select your router or go directly to http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Huawei/SmartAX-MT880/Utorrent.htm
