Klaus_1250 Posted November 9, 2005 Report Share Posted November 9, 2005 I'm seeing a lot of connections going out (~100 ) but especially coming in (400+) to uTorrent.The weird thing is, most of the connections are to the same IP (5 is normal, but I even seen 20-30) but on different ports and seem te be stale (no incoming of outgoing traffic).This eventually kills my cable-modem :-(Also, when I close uTorrent, my firewall still list connections which were being used by uTorrent as active?(Issue seen in 1.1.7.1, 1.8.0.0RC1 and 1.2.0.0) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
1c3d0g Posted January 6, 2006 Report Share Posted January 6, 2006 It takes some time for peers to notice you're not there anymore (to seed/download etc.). This usually causes your firewall to go paranoid, but it's nothing to worry about.
