Uzm
@eng: Yep, some of the flags are actually missing. I've WHOIS'ed some IP's by myself and it seems that UAE and some African flags are missing, but nothing major. The good thing is that 99% seems to be resolved correctly (out of 100 connected peers, maybe 2-3 aren't recognised because they're either UAE or some African country). It would be pretty awesome to see this flag configuration with default uTorrent-flags, but that's probably easy to say, hard to work out?EDIT; the updated flags are working fine this time. mcaspi
Guys, I don't think this function works properly now. I get the American flag for .net and .com isp's instead of foreign flags.
DreadWingKnight
And are you following the install directions for putting the flags.conf and flags.bmp on your system?
mcaspi
Yep. I'd like to ask a question. Does uTorrent determines the flag by looking at the resolved IP first. If the answer is yes then this is the problem in my opinion. I think that it should look in flags.conf first because the exceptions are there and if there is no match, look at the resolved IP. DreadWingKnight
No it doesn't. It bases it on the flags.conf first (if present) then the default list of .net/.com/.org = .us and all country codes matching up.If the domain isn't giving the proper flag, check to make sure it's in the .conf file
mcaspi
flags.conf and flags.bmp are in my %AppData%\uTorrent, peer.resolve_country is false, domains are in the .conf file and I get the American flag.
DreadWingKnight
Are you running in self-contained mode (where settings.dat is next to the utorrent.exe file)?
mcaspi
nope. settings.dat is in %AppData%\uTorrent and utorrent.exe in in C:\Program Files\uTorrent.
