eng
Looks like the .conf and .bmp will have to be updated soon.http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070124/ap_on_hi_te/techbit_outdated_domainNo more .um ccTLD, but since I'm feeling lazy I'll wait for IANA to update their site before I make the change

schnurlos
@engPerhaps you can update your first post (mirrors) ...
jivan
yup & also primary as well as the 1st mirror doesn't work. The last one works but u also didn't give the flags.bmp is also there in the german mirror. Please do it
schnurlos
Sorry, the file is and was always there, but hasn't been changed since long times ...So here they are:http://german-utorrent.de/downloads/flags.confhttp://german-utorrent.de/downloads/flags.bmp
eng
yup & also primary as well as the 1st mirror doesn't work. The last one works but u also didn't give the flags.bmp is also there in the german mirror.I'm a little confused as to what this means. The primary seems to be working fine for me. Are you referring to the link in the .conf file? You currently get an error because the new server doesn't support listing the file indexes, which I suppose I could turn off, so you need to know the full path to the file. The second mirror has the .conf file, but doesn't allow hotlinking. Hence the link to the main site and not the .conf file directly. Not sure what problem you're having with the third mirror.
jivan
sorry if I didn't make myself clear. The third mirror works coolly it's the 1st & 2nd which still don't work for me. Also in the third mirror I did try to explore the server but couldn't as u rightly pointed out. Thnx for pointing out both the links. I just wanted to stay up on it

jivan
this is crazy, I was downloading a .torrent file when there were 2 seeders/peers from the same ISP as me (somewhere in India, or somewhere in Pune) from where I belong. Anyway, the IP address is/was 59.93.3.112 & if I use any iplookup app. it gives me the following info. :-59.93.3.112% [whois.apnic.net node-1]% Whois data copyright terms http://www.apnic.net/db/dbcopyright.htmlinetnum: 59.88.0.0 - 59.99.255.255netname: BSNLNETdescr: NIB (National Internet Backbone)descr: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limiteddescr: Sanchar Bhawan,20, Ashoka Road, New Delhi-110001country: INadmin-c: NC83-APtech-c: CDN1-APstatus: ALLOCATED PORTABLEremarks: Request for additional IP Addresses for NIB Phase-2mnt-by: APNIC-HMmnt-lower: MAINT-IN-DOTmnt-routes: MAINT-IN-DOTremarks: -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-++-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+remarks: This object can only be updated by APNIC hostmasters.remarks: To update this object, please contact APNICremarks: hostmasters and include your organisation's accountremarks: name in the subject line.remarks: -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-++-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+changed: hm-changed@apnic.net 20040906changed: hm-changed@apnic.net 20040906source: APNICroute: 59.93.0.0/20descr: BSNL Internetcountry: INorigin: AS9829mnt-lower: MAINT-IN-DOTmnt-routes: MAINT-IN-DOTmnt-by: MAINT-IN-AS9829changed: routemaster@sancharnet.in 20060404changed: hm-changed@apnic.net 20060404source: APNICrole: NS Celladdress: Internet Celladdress: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limitedaddress: 8th Floor,148-B Statesman Houseaddress: Barakhamba Road, New Delhi - 110 001country: INphone: +91-11-23734057phone: +91-11-23710183fax-no: +91-11-23372252e-mail: cgmdnw@sancharnet.ine-mail: nib_abuse@sancharnet.inadmin-c: CGMD1-APtech-c: DT197-APnic-hdl: NC83-APmnt-by: MAINT-IN-DOTchanged: dnwplg@sancharnet.in 20030120source: APNICrole: CGM Data Networksaddress: Lobby 1 , 4th Flooraddress: Mahanagar Doorsanchar Sadanaddress: 9 CGO Complex , Lodhi Road , New Delhicountry: INphone: +91-11-24326781phone: +91-11-23737571fax-no: +91-11-24326783fax-no: +91-11-23737573e-mail: cgmdnw@sancharnet.ine-mail: dnwplg@sancharnet.ine-mail: nib_abuse@sancharnet.inadmin-c: CGMD1-APtech-c: DT197-APtech-c: BH155-APnic-hdl: CDN1-APmnt-by: MAINT-IN-DOTchanged: dnwplg@sancharnet.in 20030120source: APNIChope u can use this to somehow improve the flags for Indian ISP's AFAI understand tht u use the ISP/place or some name to resolve to some country flag. Something like :-somename.com|somecountry I understand tht this is more easier as contributions are also easy to make. Just wish there was someway to improve/improvize the things . Irazu
We only have one ISP here in Costa Rica, it is ICE (Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad). Is it in the list already? If not, what kind of info do you need to add it?Thanks in advance.
schnurlos
Because ICE (Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad)'s URL is "www.ice.go.cr" and "cr" is Costa Rica, there is no entry necessary.Only *.net and *.com URL's have to be inside the flags.confBut if the URL is "www.grupoice.com" for that ISP (pls tell us, I don't speak spanish ), it's not in the list and could be added. So the correct entry would be:grupoice.com|CR
