Highlifer
I have a 3.0 Mbps connection. Seems like I should be able to upload (when seeding only, no downloads going) way over 50 kB/s, right?
DreadWingKnight
Not necessarily. Most of the time, the speeds you're given by your provider are your download speed, and RARELY are your upload speeds that high.Run a speedtest from http://www.broadbandreports.com/stest to check
Highlifer
Thanks for the reply. I guess you're right. Speedtest says my upload speed is 431 kbps. Still wish I could get higher than 50 kB/s though. =(
DreadWingKnight
Not with that speed test result.
Switeck
You might barely be able to use the xx/512k Speed Guide (CTRL+G) setting...though you might want to reduce upload speed to maybe 42-45 KiloBYTES/sec. You can set alternate upload speed higher, maybe even to 50 KiloBYTES/sec because that's when you're seeding but not downloading.
